I followed this grizzly boar for over an hour at a scope distance as he made his way along the Lamar River before he decided to cross at sunset. This photo was taken after his river crossing as he was making his way through the sage scrub. This was a solo encounter, I wasn’t in a line of photographers or a “bear jam” which made for an incredible experience. Photographed handheld on Thursday April 18th 2024 with my Sony a7RV with a with a Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens.
